Castello di Bran — scorcio
Bran Castle — interior view
A graphite study inspired by an interior view of Bran Castle in Romania: an architectural fragment suspended between memory, shadow and perception.
The work begins from a partial view observed from an interior terrace: not a frontal or touristic representation of the castle, but an architectural fragment filtered through the memory of the journey.
The central tower, dark masses and broken lines construct a suspended space, almost held within a frame of shadow. The drawing does not seek documentary precision; it aims instead to return the emotional experience of the place — stone, silence, verticality and unease.
In this view, Bran becomes less a monument than a perceptual experience. Graphite retains the instability of the gaze, turning architecture into an inner place.
